Podcasting is a way to provide audio programming directly to a selected audience who has subscribed to your program. A Public Channel has information on the subscription address or "feedpoint" broadly distributed. The information is included in public directories such as the Apple iTunes Music Store. and linked on the company web site. Customers, prospects, employees, industry analysts - and competitors - will monitor the podcast and distribute the information broadly. A Private channel is a podcast that uses the same technologies, but has an obscure subscription address that is never distributed outside the organization. Public Channels allow you to present information on your product or service directly to customers and prospects with full control of the wording, pace, and timing. Your goal could be information, entertainment, or some combination of the two.
Private Channels allow you to present information directly to your sales force in as much detail and personal emphasis as you desire. If you have selected one of our "PodcastDirect" products, the operation is not monitored by Review Communications in any way. We can also provide direct options for Premier customers who wish to have the same arrangement on a program or program service, for example a private channel for management use that is set up by Review Communications, throughly tested, and then account and password control transferred to the customer.
