Yes ! You can use the iTunes podcatcher program for your private network, and indicate that the podcast is not to be indexed or appear in the iTunes Music Store directory. Your sales team can be privately notified by email of the private subscription link, and use the iTunes podcatcher to listen to your podcast along with other programs that are publicized broadly. This has a number of advantages: You let your sales team take advantage of the search and index capability of the iTunes podcatcher, and keep your private network subscription in exactly the same environment as other podcasts and music that your reps are already enjoying. This may require a one time "cut/paste" of the link to your private channel- but from that point if your Sales Rep has iTunes on their laptop, your podcast episodes will be just as automatic as any other content. |
