In a one-time online meeting, we install and configure a customized SCN RecordPad Sound Recorder application on the laptop machine (XP or Vista) that you will use to record your podcast. Plug in a Microphone or headset, and start the program by clicking on the icon

Button 1:  Click on "Record"

STEP 1 : RECORD YOUR AUDIO - Push RECORD, then talk

Button 2: Click on "Stop"

Step 2: FINISH YOUR PODCAST - Push Stop and we do the rest

That's all the sales manager or content creator must do!

The rest of the details are handled by Sales Channel Network, and within a few days the completed program appears through iTunes to the iPod or mp3 player of your mobile sales team.

Behind the scense, the recording is transferred to our servers within a few minutes. The Sales Manager  does receive a screen that shows the recording file size and name, but there is no action necessary. 

A backup of the file remains on your laptop, while a copy is sent to our servers. Any problem or disconnect won't spoil the process. We can can easily set up an online session and retrieve that backup copy, if needed.

By clicking on the file you can also listen to it to confirm the recording quality. You can also use this as a way to do microphone checks, position guests within the room, and listen to short test recordings before investing a lot of time in a lengthy production.
